True Detective Review – “Night Finds You” – Knocking on the devil’s door.

The investigation into Ben Caspere's murder begins on True Detective.

Guys, this show is dark. I don’t know if you knew that. I mean, I’d like to think it’s not the case, but I imagine that people in this world can’t go to the bathroom without ominous, industrial drums clang-clanging in the background. I’m having trouble dealing with Heroes Reborn.

Hey, guys, mark your calendars! Because Heroes Reborn is still a thing that’s happening, and it would be best if we, as a culture, could experience it together so that we, as a culture, could remember why we stopped watching the show in the first place. True Detective Review – “The Western Book of the Dead” – Send in the clowns.

Colin Farrell stars as Ray Velcoro in the second season of HBO's True Detective.

Ten minutes into True Detective’s season premiere, Colin Farrell says, “I welcome judgement.” Well, he better, because audiences are still high on Woody Harrelson’s and Matthew McConaughey’s performance from last season. They’re serious. Continue reading “True Detective Review – “The Western Book of the Dead” – Send in the clowns.”

Check out the trailer below. Continue reading “AMC Debuts New Trailer for Fear the Walking Dead”

Thoughts on Game of Thrones. Game of Thrones Thoughts. Game of Thoughts. Nailed it.

Jon Snow from

Any Game of Thrones fan knows that George R.R. Martin is in it for the long haul. He could come out tomorrow and announce that instead of seven books, he’s decided to write ten, and there would be the typical online wailing and gnashing of teeth, and then we’d all get used to it. We’d get used to it because we are used to this story continuing. A Game of Thrones came out in 1996. Can you believe that? Almost 20 years ago. Waiting for the next book, for the next season, is just what we do. It’s a part of life.  Continue reading “Thoughts on Game of Thrones. Game of Thrones Thoughts. Game of Thoughts. Nailed it.”
